3 x 600 L (~158.5 gallons) Nico Velo White Concrete Tanks: Designed for lees contact.

USED FOR FERMENTATION & STORAGE.

THEY ARE AMAZING FOR WINES SO THEY SHOULD BE GREAT FOR BEER.

Nico Velo is a producer of super premium concrete.

The tanks are the Flacon Model.  It is a discontinued model as the company decided to focus on larger vessels.

Homepage

The concrete tanks have been used once (one was never used), are beautiful and have a showroom quality.  A pail of the original paint is included if someone purchases the three tanks.

These tanks are great vessels, but I retired from the wine industry.  They help make wine with depth, minerality, and delicate texture, creating a seamless tasting experience.

All three tanks are on their original pallet, so they are easy to ship.  They all come with purposed-made concrete feet.

Vessels have cooling and heating tubes inserted in the concrete.  They all have a bottom door, bottom valve, racking valve, tasting valve, thermometer and stainless steel lid.

A manifold is also provided for each tank to manage the heating and cooling.

These tanks are not cheap and are meant to be used for value added wines.  They have decades of lifespan.

The tanks designed had white grapes in mind but can be used for any wines.  The bottom door makes it easy to use to ferment red grapes on skin.

The vessels are for fermenting and ageing wine. USING THEM ARE FINANCIALLY ADVANTAGEOUS OVER BARRELS IN THE LONG RUN.

Perfect vessel for “terroir minded” wines or natural wine philosophy.

Promote fruit intensity, texture and seamless palate.
