Dry HOPNIKECO 90
Description of the system:
The system is designed to take a controllable amount of hop pellets from a conical, CO2 purged tank. The Dry HOPNIKECO unit disperse and mix the pellets with beer from a CCT and returning the hop slurry back to the CCT with a product transfer pump. The system obtains better hop yield at lower oxidation levels than conventional methods for dry hopping in the cellar.
The Dry HOPNIKECO is designed for a manual dry-hopping procedure. The beer loop will be set up by locally available hoses. The speed of the dispersing pump can be controlled by a frequency converter installed on the system skid. Cleaning is done by the help of a spray ball in the hop pellet vessel.
