Twin Monkey canning line Description: This line arrived April 2017, 5 years old but hasn’t actually had that many cans run on it about 275,000 cans (comparatively speaking). The Twin Monkey Yampa, 3-head semi-auto needs 3 people to run. One person pushing cans in, a person putting lids on and pressing a button to seam, and a third person pakteching/packaging. There are attachments though like de-pal, etc. that you could upgrade on this machine. It works well but it is quite an analog machine meaning you really need to know your carbonation, temperature and how each beer pours into cans to ensure proper DO. In other words, I’m not sure this is good for a start-up brewery with no canning experience. I feel it would be a steeper learning curve. But for a brewery already canning or with experienced staff, it would work for them. I would highly suggest that they get in touch with Twin Monkeys. They can definitely come and watch canning days here too. I am selling the machine with a rinser/air dryer and spare parts. We currently run 18, 16oz cans/min pushing at a higher psi of about 17 (had to get higher PRVs in our BTs). Also it would not be available until our new line is up and running so probably 10-12 weeks (around the beginning of April). Asking $25,000 obo.
